Kathy Lynne West

Kathy Lynne West, age 65 of Quitman, GA passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center. Kathy was born to the late Floyd and Patricia Brennan in Port Chester, NY on August 21, 1960.

She had a deep love for her family and grandkids. Kathy was deeply devoted to the Quitman Church of God and had a loving bond with Jesus which was evident when she shared the Gospel with everyone. She enjoyed teaching new things to her granddaughter and holding her grandson and was the best mom you could ever ask for.

She also enjoyed her position as the retail supervisor of events of food demos for Sam’s Club.

Along with her parents Kathy is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Brennan and brother-in-law, Robert Cutcher.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Donald Lee West, Sr. of Quitman, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Bryanna Lynne West of Quitman, GA; grandchildren, Kelsey Lynne West and Nekoda Ethan West of Quitman, GA; sister and brother in law, Kimberly Brennan Bodiford and husband Bo of Tallahassee, FL; sisters Dawn Zalva of FL, Kelly Cutcher of Quitman, GA; brother, Joey Brennan of FL; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Quitman Church of God located at 1405 E. Screven St. Quitman, GA.
