Katie L. Fletcher

Katie L. Fletcher, 96, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 10, 1924 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Charlie and Lela (Stewart) Helms. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, raking yards, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Ms. Fletcher worked with Dairy Queen for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sure loved her babies. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Fletcher of 67 years.
Survivors include her Daughters and Son in Laws: Debbie and Pete Leisey of Valdosta, Georgia, Susan and Mark Bradford of Lakeland, Georgia; Son and Daughter in Law: Eddie and Teresa Fletcher of Leesburg, Georgia; Grandchildren: Stacey Reynolds (Chancey), Katie Hill (Corey), Kim Fletcher (Chris Calway), Deanna Hart, Jordan Bradford (Tiffany); 6 Great Grandchildren: Cason, Tatum, Gavin, Copper, Kyler & Kable and a number of nieces and nephews

A private services will be held in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. No formal visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of South Georgia, 2263 Pineview Drive, Valdosta, GA 31605. Message of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
