Ken Spires

Ken Spires, age 62, of Quitman, Georgia passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026.

He loved his family, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching UGA football, attending car shows, going fishing and bowling, mowing his grass and keeping his yard. He loved being with people and never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Geary Gene Spires and Mamie Pauline “Hawkins” Spires and a sister Renee Spires.

Ken is survived by his daughters, Kelly Beaty (Ryan Ferguson) of Valdosta, Kari Hagood (Billy) of Hahira, Dana Purvis (Justin) of Hahira; grandchildren, Addison Beaty, Asher Beaty, Adaline Hagood, Olivia Hagood, Jacob Brown and Lacey Brown; sisters, Tracy Rigdon (Ken) of Valdosta, Toni Hudson (David) of Valdosta; fiancé Andrea Corrao of Quitman and he had a number of nieces, nephews and cousins and extended family members with Eric Miller (Denise) being his favorite cousin and car show buddy.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM, Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Viewing starts at 2:00PM. Wear your best GA attire.
