Kenneth Willard Arner – 84
Of Quitman, Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at his home. He was born on February 10, 1940 in Tamqua, Pennsylvania to the late Willard Arner and Arlene (Eperts) Arner. Ken served his country in the United States Navy and was assigned to USS Bache. He was a Commercial Truck Driver and owned his own trucking business. He started out with a Ford Penthouse Sleeper and grew his business to three semi-trucks. He enjoyed going to church where he was a member of the Church of God faith. He loved to be around people and never met a stranger.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Sauls Burnham Arner of Quitman, Georgia; daughter, Jennifer Murry (Larry) of St. Petersburg, Florida; son, Mike Burnham (Kim) of Quitman, Georgia; grandsons: Michael Burnham (Stephanie), Matt Burnham (Meghan); great grandchildren: Adison, Tucker, Boston, Michael III “Tripp”; brother, Gene Arner of Charlston, South Carolina; sister, Joan Keeton of Dunedin, Florida; sister, Carolyn Cornette of Arcadia, California; special acquaintance, Eddie Edwards; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
As per his wishes, he will be cremated, and no formal services will be held. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the funeral home. Kind words and expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at
