Kenneth Lee Bennett, 74, of Stockton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Kenneth was born on January 21, 1949 in Stockton, Georgia to Major and Gladys Brogdon Bennett. A beloved husband, father, and papa. He dedicated four years of service in the United States Air Force. He spent many years serving as a mason at the Lakeland Lodge # 434. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Roscoe Bennett, two infant sisters, and grandson, Eric Bennett.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lillian Hazel Bennett of Stockton, GA; two sons, Randy Anderson and wife Deborah of Valdosta, Kenny Wayne Bennett and wife Kerri of Thomasville, GA; two daughters, Tammy Bennett of Stockton, GA, Melissa Smith and husband William of Stockton, GA; two brothers, Ronnie Bennett and wife Linda, Murrell Bennett and wife Rhonda of Clyattville, GA; sister-in-law, Pat Bennett of Stockton, GA; eleven grandchildren, Ethan McRae, Sage Fender, Stanton Fender, Michaela Anderson, Macy Anderson, Madison Corbett, Randy Anderson, Joey Anderson, Brianna Bennett, Haley Bennett, Junior Bennett; and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 5:00 pm, Friday, March 17, 2023 at Statenville Church of God with Rev. Tyler Carter and Rev. Murrell Bennett officiating. Mr. Bennett will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Music Funeral Services - Lakeland.
