Kenneth Lee Haskins

July 17, 1942 — March 9, 2019

Kenneth Lee Haskins, MSGT USAF Retired – 76 of Valdosta passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 in Langdale Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He was born July 17, 1942 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. He was the youngest child and son of Arthur A and Rosa N Haskins.
Kenny graduated from Billings High School in Billings, Oklahoma in 1960 where he played football, basketball, and baseball. He was the class President. He was active in FFA (President of Billings Chapter). After high school, he enlisted in the USAF. During his years in the Air Force, he was stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB NC, Charleston AFB SC, Duluth AFB MN, Bangkok, Thailand, Vandenberg AFB CA and Moody AFB GA. He retired at Moody AFB in 1986 after serving 26 years.
After retiring from the Air Force, Kenny worked in sales – Advanced Auto and O’Reilly’s – until his health would no longer permit him to continue working.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Rosa Haskins, his sister and brother-in-law: Helen and Fred Fugate; brothers-in-law: Earl Johnson and Glenn Williams, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his children and their spouses: Vickie (Alan) Kirkland, Kenny Wayne (Connie) Haskins, Michael (Ashley) Haskins, Jeffery Haskins, Marissa Brooks, Erikka Brooks, Joshua (Melissa) Haskins, Kyle (Amber) Haskins, and Haley (Mark) Willis; grandchildren: Melissa Kirkland, Heather (Ethan) Hammock, Trevor Haskins, Jordan Haskins, Kayla Haskins, Kinsey Haskins, Dylan Haskins, Hunter Giddens, Layton Giddens, Kallie Haskins, Grayson Haskins, Harrison Ridley, Ayla Ridley, Gideon Willis and Ryan Haskins; great grandchildren: Jaylen Deloach and Dacey DeLoach; sister: Patricia Williams of AZ; 2 former spouses: Mary Haskins and Karen Brooks; niece Martha Goodwin of CA and nephews: Robert White of NV and Patrick Johnson of AZ.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Full Military Honors will be rendered. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, March 11, 2019 at the funeral home.
