Of Valdosta passed away Monday, January 9, 2006 in South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 8, 1941 in Hahira to the late Hobson K. & Louise Courson Tomlinson. He was Baptist by faith.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 11, 2006 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Friendship Cemetery.
