Kenton Freeman Moore, Sr. 56
Of Stockton, GA passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 6, 2004 at his residence from an apparent heart attack. He was born in Echols Co., Howell, GA to the late Benjamin Ira and Annie Mae Bailey Moore. Mr. Moore lived in the Naylor/Stockton area all of his life. He was a member of the Naylor United Methodist Church. His greatest attribute was being a family man, loving husband, great daddy, grandfather, loving brother and friend to all. Preceding Mr. Moore in death besides his parents, were one daughter, Karen Renee Moore, sister, Juanita Pauline Moore Cutler, two brothers, Billy Grovene Moore, Jack Francis Moore and mother-in-law, Barbara Lou Roberts.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Roberts Moore, Stockton, GA, 3 daughters & sons-in-law Dena and Harlan Sirmans, Pearson, GA, Jeannie and Brian Blanton, Sr., Valdosta, GA, Mandy and Jammie Cook, Lakeland, GA, 2 sons, Kenton Bryan Moore, Jacksonville, FL, Kenton Freeman Moore, Jr., Stockton, GA, 5 Grandchildren, Jaxson Cook, Brianne and Dewayne Blanton, Terrian and Harley Sirmans, 3 sisters, Ann M. Dukes, Valdosta, GA, Gayle M. Miller, Valdosta, GA, Iris M. Bailey, Valdosta, GA, brother, Larry Wayne Moore, Valdosta, GA, a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2004 in Naylor United Methodist Church in Naylor with burial following in Good Hope Cemetery.
