Khuyen Thien Vu-90
Of Hahira, Georgia, peacefully passed away at his home on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Khuyen was born to Ky Thi Pham and Giang Minh Vu on April 10, 1934, in Binh, Vietnam. Khuyen was a warm and approachable person, always radiating friendliness. He had a genuine passion for outdoor activities like yard work, where he would often lose track of time tending to plants and landscaping. His love for travel took him on adventures, eager to explore new places and meet new people. He also had a deep appreciation for farming, finding joy in the simple yet fulfilling task of working the land. Khuyen’s collection of hats reflected his unique style, each one adding a special touch to his personality. His easygoing nature made it effortless for others to connect with him, and he quickly became a friend to anyone he met. Along with his parents, Khuyen is preceded in death by son, Thiem Huy Vu and his son-in-law, Hanh Dao.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Chuong Thi Vu of Vietnam; sons: Thieng Huy Vu (Huyen Ny Uyen) of Valdosta, Georgia, Chris Vu (Quyen) of Valdosta, Georgia, and Tieng Huy Vu (Thuylinh) of Hahira, Georgia; daughters: Hong (Rose) Thi of Valdosta, Georgia and Annie (Bich) Vu (Thu Nguyen) of Hahira, Georgia; daughter-in-law: Tam Dung of Valdosta, Georgia; 14 grandchildren: Eric Vu, Brayden Vu, Thomas Vu, Jimmy Dao, Kenny Dao, Timmy Dao, Alex Vu, Andrew Vu, Kayla Vu, Hanna Vu, Jenna Vu, Chelsey Dao, Allison Vu, and Juliana Vu; cousins: Tuyen Pham and Angela Pham.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 6, 2025, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Valdosta, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
