Kim Darsey Ray – 60
Of Lakeland passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at her residence. She was born on July 16, 1961 in Valdosta, Georgia to the late William B. Darsey, Sr and Mary Catherine Carter. She was a loving mother, goodhearted and showed no partiality. She had a contagious laugh and loved everyone. She was very humble and everyone enjoyed her sweet tea. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Darsey and step-father William E. Carter.
Survivors include: mother, Mary Catherine Carter, son Brandon Ray (Nina) of Fitzgerald, Georgia; daughter Christina Rowe (Justin) of Lake Park, Georgia; 8 grandchildren; and a brother Lloyd Carter (Katie) of Hahira, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 23, 2021 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Interment will follow in Burnt Church Cemetery.
