Lafon Gaskins

Of Lakeland passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 in the St. Vincent Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. after declining health for some time. He was born August 15, 1937 to the late Charlie Daniel and Eva Fender Gaskins in Berrien County, GA. He was a member of the Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Lanier County.

Daughter and Son-in-Law – Jackie and Jerry Baumgartner – Jacksonville, FL.
Son – Michael Gaskins – Lakeland, GA.
Grandchildren – Danny Baumgartner, Jerry and Carrie Baumgartner – Jacksonville, FL.
Great Grandchildren – Taryn, Julie, Audrey, Stephen, Shannon, Devan and Danielle

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial in Guthrie Cemetery in Berrien County, GA. The family will receive friend at the funeral home Tuesday evening between 6:00 and 900 PM.
