Lamar Byron Connell

Of Lakeland, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born to the late William Byron and Katie Mae Graham Connell on April 6, 1941 in Cook County, Georgia. He has been employed at Connell Cabinets in Lakeland, Georgia manufacturing cabinets since 1966. He was a member of New River Free Holiness Church in Berrien County, Georgia. He is preceded in death by 3 Brothers-In-Law: R.W. Drawdy, Elbert Giddens, & Brub Clements; Father-In-Law & Mother-In-Law: Quince& Fannie Bell Clements.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010, at the New River Free Holiness Church in Berrien County, Georgia with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, October 22, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
