Lamar Edgar Griffin

Of Lakeland, passed away April 5, 2010 in the Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born April 22, 1931 in Berrien County, Georgia to the late Herbert and Vera Shaw Griffin. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force and was Baptist by Faith. He is preceded in death by a wife Janet Griffin, 2 brothers, Wendall Griffin & Billy Griffin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 8, 2010 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Empire Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
