Larry E Chadwick

Of Ray City, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 in the Tift Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born October 2, 1948 to the late Wilbur Lee and Bessie Ruth Thompson Chadwick in Hahira, Georgia. He was a disabled veteran who served in the Army for 12 years with 2 terms in Vietnam and received the Purple Heart, Metal of Valor, Bronze Star, and other numerous commedations for his service to our country. He was self employed and worked in construction. He is preceded in death by a twin sisters.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 in the First Baptist Church of Ray City with burial in Beaver Dam Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
