Larry Wendell Harris – of Valdosta, GA passed away on Friday December 20, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. He was born on September 27, 1941 in Soddy Daisey, TN to the late Sherman and Edith (Summers) Harris. Mr. Larry worked at Winn Dixie since the age of 16 up until retiring as a plant manager of Crackin Good Bakery. Along with his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Wimberley) Harris.
Larry is survived by Sons Christopher Harris of Hope Hole, AL, Donald Harris of Valdosta, GA; Two Grandchildren: Nikki Harris and Daniel Jordan; Two Great Grandchildren: John Michael and Bam Bam; Sister Phyllis Jones of Spring City, TN.
As per his wishes, Larry is to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to The American Cancer Society (1430 Prudential Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32207) in Mr. Larry’s name. The Harris family is being served by the caring and compassionate staff of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
