He went by many names, we knew him as Baby, Pappy, Peppy, Son, Dad, and Butter Bean but the rest of the world knew him as Larry.
Larry Wagner Jr., 57, passed away November 10, 2023 peacefully in his home surrounded by his family.
Pappy was an avid egg and tater connoisseur by day and zombie annihilator by night. Life was an adventure and he always wanted to share them with family. He was a jack of all trades but master of none although he had a tool for everything. He was a man that loved sharing memories, smiles, and laughs. Some of his favorite phrases were “It doesn’t sprinkle, sprinkles go on cupcakes.”, “Chili is something you eat.”, “I plead the fifth.”, and “Have I told you today I love you?”
He was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Wagner, uncle, Danny Aulabaugh, and grandchild, Baby Williams. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, DiAnna “Sweet Cheeks” Wagner, parents, Larry and Lonita Wagner, aunt, Carolyn Aulabaugh of Washington, brother, Terry “Toodles” Wagner (Joyce), children, Sarah “Big Girl” Williams (Aaron “Fuzzy”), Chris Wagner (Erin) of Oregon, Cody “Chubby” Williams (Kember “Boujee”), Chastidy “Chas” Boutin (JR “El Burrito”), grandchildren Shanae, McKenzie, Kiefer, Vydia, and Lydia, as well as several cousins.
Following his wishes there will be no service. When reminiscing your favorite Pappy memories, crack open a beer and a bag of peanut m&ms. If you owe him a beer, on your next adventure he will gladly meet you to collect his debt.
Pappy, to quote your own words “It’s tater time! And remember I’ll always love you.”
