Laszlo Lajos Rozsas, Jr.- 90
Of Valdosta, Georgia formally from Naples, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at his residence. He was born to the late Laszlo Rozsas Sr. and Elizabeth Rozsas on July 14, 1934, in Budapest, Hungary. Laszlo had a deep love for music. In 1950, he played the trumpet in the Hungarian military orchestra, where his passion for music found a meaningful outlet. In January 1957, with the help of his father, Laszlo was able to leave Hungary and cross into Austria. He spent the next two and a half years there, learning the language and securing employment as he built a new life. In April 1959, thanks to the sponsorship of his mother’s sister, Laszlo immigrated to the United States. There, he continued his journey—finding work and dedicating himself to learning English. A gifted craftsman, Laszlo spent his life working with tools and dies, mastering his trade with skill and dedication.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ann Marie Rozsas of Valdosta, Georgia; daughter and son in law, Christina Bajraktareric (Alfredo) of Naples, Florida; son and daughter in law, Christopher Rozsas (Cheryl) of Valdosta, Georgia; grandchildren: Anthony Falzarano and Annabelle Falzarano; sister, Ildiko Hargitay of Torrington, Connecticut.
