Of Lakeland passed away early Thursday morning, May 11, 2006 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lanier County on May 15, 1930 to the late Earnest M. & Vernie Kirkland Spells. Mrs. Moore was a member of Lanier County Fishing Club and Lowndes County Senior Citizens Club. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lakeland, GA. She is preceded in death by her brother, Alton D. Spells

Funeral services were held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, May 14, 2006 in Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Rev. John Brackin and Rev. George OBerry officiating. Burial followed in Empire Cemetery.
