Of Valdosta, GA passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 in the Langdale Hospice House. She was born in Blackshear, GA on October 23, 1933 to the late Willie Ernest and Gladys Lucille Kirkland Knight, Sr. She loved to mow the yard and drink coffee with her husband. Mrs. Rowland was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and crocheting. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Rowland and a brother, Gary Knight.

E. Graveside services will be held 2:00PM Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Redland Baptist Church Cemetery in Lowndes County, GA.
