Of Valdosta, GA passed this life suddenly Monday, September 17, 2012 in the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. He was born July 18, 1946 to the late John Olen, Jr. and Hazel Mary Mitchell Bell in Gary, Indiana. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Weapon System Specialist, and also retired from Cracklin Goods after 14 years of service. He was a Baptist by faith, a member of the Cherry Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Bell was a master mason member of the Royal Palm Masonic Lodge # 100, a member of the Mahi Shrine Temple in Miami, FL. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Bell.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 24, 2012 in the Cherry Creek Baptist Church 3290 Skipper Bridge Road Valdosta, GA 31605. The Family will receive friends Monday, September 24, 2012 from 12:00 PM until service time.
