Of Valdosta passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born July 29, 1939 in Meggs, Georgia to the late Perry & Louise Green Powers. Mrs. Kinard loved working in her yard, gardening, and especially working with her roses. She was a member of the Perimeter Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 2 Brothers Ralph Powers and Robert Powers.
Survivors include: Husband; George Kinard, Valdosta, GA; Daughters & Son-in-Law, Linda Sue & Keith Whaley, Louisberg, NC, Brenda Kay & Billy Long, Valdosta, GA, Annette & Michael C. Thomas, Valdosta, GA; Son & Daughter-in-Law, D.J. Kinard & Christie Mchan, Quitman, GA, 13 Grandchildren & 15 Great Grandchildren; Brothers & Sisters-in-Law, Billy & Margaret Powers, Lake Park, GA, Charles & Jeannie Powers, Hahira, GA and a number of nieces & nephews
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, June 28, 2012 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Lenox, GA. The family will receive friends Wednesday June 27, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00P.M. at the funeral home
