Of Lakeland passed away Tuesday morning July 19, 2005 in the Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lowndes County, GA. on January 15, 1914 to the late John &Willie Moore. Mrs. Allen had a love for flowers, she enjoyed caring for them until decling health forced her to stop. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hansel Allen.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 P.M. Friday July 22, 2005 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Rev. Austin DeLoach officiating. Burial followed in Good Hope Cemetery.
