Of Lake Park Georgia, passed away March 18, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on October 13, 1937 to the late Eleuterio Olmeda and Rita Aguayo. He worked at Amp Inc. for over 20 years. He enjoyed playing the saxophone, traveling, and playing music.
Survivors include, Wife of 47 years, Brunilda Olmeda of Lake Park, GA; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Joann & Abel Cintron of Valdosta GA; 2 Sons & Daughters-in-Law, Lemuel "Lem" & Sonika Olmeda of Scott, IL; Daniel & Jane Olmeda of Hawaii; 8 Grandchildren, Tyler, Jasmine, Wyatt, Nildita, Ace, Joana, VanGunner, and Jack; 2 Sisters, Rosa & Joe Sanabria of Puerto Rico; Elsa Olmeda of Harrisburg, PA; 3 Brothers Sister-in-Law, Amilcar "Kike" & Grace Olmeda of Virginia, Rene & Mary Olmeda of Puerto Rico, Eleuterio & Carmen Olmeda of New Jersey; and A Number of Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 2:00P.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. As per his wishes he will be cremated following the service. Music Funeral Services/Azalea Crematory of Valdosta is serving the Olmeda Family.
