Of Valdosta passed away late Friday April 22, 2005 night at her residence after a brief illness. Mrs. Butler was born January 4, 1910, in Covington County, Alabama to the late Roach H. and Donie Chisum Aughtman. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas because of being able to give and receive She enjoyed her doll collection, the Bride doll being her favorite. Her love for the outdoors was always shown by her visits to the farm spending time with the horses and cows. She was preceded in death by her husband George C. Butler.

Funeral Services were held Monday, April 25, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services, with burial following in Sunset Hill cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, 205 Woodrow Wilson, Valdosta GA 31602
