Of Lakeland, GA passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta, GA. He was born on August 06, 1947 in Lakeland GA to the late Roy Edward and Eiver Odom Bailey. He was a carpenter and cabinet maker at Connell Cabinets and Millworks, Inc. for 36 years and a member of Little Block Holiness. In addition to his parents He is preceded in death by his brothers James “Buddy” Bailey and Mack Bailey.
Survivors include: Wife of 48 years, Martha Bailey of Lakeland, GA; Daughters and Son-in-laws, Lawanna & Jim Marsh of Valdosta, GA; Cindy & DeRon Batten of Lakeland, GA; Grandchildren: Lily Batten & Hunter Batten; Sister & Brother-in-Law, Barbara & Thomas Sapp of Nashville, GA; Several nieces, nephews and extended family members
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow at Empire Cemetery. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to services on Monday February 19, 2018. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the Langdale Hospice House or the American Cancer Society.
