Of Valdosta, passed away early Saturday Morning April 8, 2006 in the Holy Hill Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He was born March 16, 1929 in Cook County to the late Mary Rosetta Terry. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Terry attended the Rosedale Church of God. His sister Rose Lawrence preceded him in death

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral services with Pastor J. C. Eason officiating, and his wife, Brenda Faye Eason will provide comfort through song and music. Burial followed in Lake Park cemetery.
