Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on November 25, 1963, to Lee Paulk Jr. and late Erin Young Paulk in Decator, Georgia. Leslee worked for many schools including McIntyre Park School, Lowndes Middle School, Moulton Branch Elementary, JL Newbern Middle, and Valdosta Middle School, she retired from Valdosta Middle School System. Leslee dedicated many years to volunteering with the Salvation Army, where she made a significant impact on her community. Leslee's legacy of kindness and support continues to inspire those who knew her. She had a deep passion for quilting, rock painting, and crocheting, which brought her immense joy. Her love for her pets was boundless, and she cherished teaching kids, nurturing their curiosity and creativity. Family time was precious to her, whether it was sharing laughter over games or enjoying quiet moments together. A devoted fan, she proudly supported the Georgia Bulldogs, celebrating every victory with enthusiasm.
Survivors include her spouse, Gayle Leighton; her daughter, Robin Lampert of Valdosta, Georgia; son, Brighton Lampert of Hahira, Georgia; father, Lee Paulk Jr. of Lake Park, Georgia; 3 grandchildren; honorary grandchildren; AmBrosia Willis (Gerald), Aliyes Dell (Marley), Hunter Ellis, BracLee Willis, Cameron Dell, Meleah Williams, Trinity Williams-Wright (Jeffery), Alexis Dell, Madison Willis, Dawn Willis; great grandchildren: Oaklynn, Kagan, Sullivan, Madeline, Zaria, Jeffery; honorary sons: A.C. Willis (Autumn) of Mississippi and Corkey Leighton of Valdosta, Georgia; honorary daughters: Jonetta Dell of Valdosta Georgia and Casey Williams (Paul) of Valdosta, Georgia; a friend of Bill W.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
