Of Lakeland passed away ThursdayJuly 21, 2005 in Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Herrin, IL on February 27, 1928 to the late Thomas and Kate Etta Stovall. He served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1946, served in the United States Army from 1948 to 1950 and in the Coast Guard from 1951. He retired from the State of Illinois as a mental health technician. Mr. Stovall was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Stovall, sister, Geneval Stovall and 5 brothers, Jack Stovall, Robert Stovall, Ray Stovall, Jake Stovall and Guy Stovall.
