Lillie “Jo” Hammons – 67

Of Valdosta passed away Friday, September 09, 2005 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born October 12, 1937 in Clay County, TN to the late Willis and Vaudie Taylor. She worked with South Georgia Medical Center as a Nurse for many years. Ms. Hammons was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobbie Hammons, and a Brother, Noble Taylor

Funeral Services were held Monday, September 12, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial in Riverview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to Hospice of South Georgia at 205 Woodrow Wilson Drive, Valdosta GA 31602
