Linda Rose Beatty

Of Homerville, passed away Sunday evening, Feb. 24, 2008, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta after a brief illness. She was born in Coffee County to the late Joseph Frances and Mary Magdeline Giddens Mathis. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.Survivors include her husband Hubert Rigdon, Homerville; three brothers, Julian Mathis, Lakeland, Ga., Vernon Mathis, Lakeland, Pete Mathis, Homerville; a number of nieces and nephews.Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today, Feb. 26, 2008, in Burnt Church Cemetery in Lanier County, Georgia.
