Linda Lee Douglas, age 69, of Nashville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at her residence in Nashville, Georgia. She was born on March 11, 1956, in Burtonwood AFB, England to the late Desso Franklin and Daisy Gladys (Learned) Faulkner. Linda had a passion for sewing and needlework, particularly cross-stitching and knitting. She also loved reading and was an active member of her home church, Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Linda honorably served her county in the United States Army for over a decade. She also provided care and comfort for over forty years as a proud registered nurse. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Douglas.
Survivors include her son, DJ Douglas of Keller, Texas; son, Jeremy Wayne Douglas (Linsay) of Valdosta, Georgia; son, Brent Adam Douglas of Bedford, Texas; sister Cynthia Lou Stewart of Nashville, Georgia; brother; Desso Martin Faulkner (Deloris) of Nashville, Georgia; grandchildren: Kaelin, Kyler, Cameron; Christina, Adrian, Faith, Merrick, Kira, Grayson, Joseph, Violet; great grandchildren: Miles, Aiden, Desiree; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Nashville, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the funeral home.
