Linda Rae Klement – 75
Of Valdosta, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Klement was born on November 16, 1943 to the late Jesse and Lorna Hanson in Mankato, MN. She was an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Having a true servant’s heart, she was very involved in various ministries in the church and community. Linda was active in providing items for parents who lost a child, knitting “chemo caps” for cancer patients, providing prayer crosses for hospital patients and helped with welcome packets for new families to the area. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Dan.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years: Gary Klement of Valdosta; 4 sons & daughters-in-law: Sam & Jenny Klement, Dothan, AL, Craig Klement, Valdosta, Todd & Stacy Klement, Spokane, WA & Seth & Trisha Klement, Vancouver, WA; grandchildren: Jesse (Chelsey),Matthew, Justin (Nicole), Arren (Meghan), Tyler, Bax, Sammy Tate, Anna & Cannon; great grandsons: Seamus & Killian; brother: Gary; sisters: Sue & Jolene and a number of nieces & nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 26, 2019 in the Messiah Lutheran Church, 500 Baytree Road Valdosta, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Messiah Lutheran Church, 500 Baytree Road, Valdosta, GA 31602 or the American Cancer Society.
