Linda Virginia Martin – 68
Of Lakeland, GA passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Tift Rehab Center. She was born on December 8, 1949 in Valdosta, GA to the late William Bill Dorminey and Neeler Dorminey Buckner. She is formally of Rockwood, TN before moving to Lakeland when her health got to the place she needed help from family. Her sister, Jean Brogdon, has the love and the special touch to have provided for her sister day and night. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her Husband, Robert Martin of Rockwood, TN; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Jean and Joe Brogdon of Lakeland, GA, Janice and Jim Gobin of Fort Worth, TX; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, E.E. and Nadine Eunice of Tallahassee, FL; and William “Bill” and Sharon Dorminey of Junction City, KS.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services, Lakeland, GA with burial at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
