Lloyd Ulyss Lee – 60

Of Homerville, GA passed away Tuesday night, March 9, 2004 at his residence, following a battle with cancer. Mr. Lee was born to the late Will and Ruby Lee on February 4, 1944 in Clinch County where he lived and farmed most of his life. Mr. Lee was a “1962” graduate of Clinch Co. High School, and “1964” graduate of South Georgia Technical School. He worked for Lockheed Aircraft and other manufacturing plants following graduation. He returned home in 1970, went back to farming until today. He was an active, community minded leader and friend, serving 2 terms on the Clinch County Hospital Board, 3 years on Jury Selection Board, Director and officer of Clinch County Farm Bureau, served as Director, Secretary and President of Guest Pond, served on local and state committees of Georgia Farm Bureau including Reorganization Committee, served ASCS Committee for numerous terms which included serving as State Delegate at conventions. He was an active member of the Cassia Lodge # 224, Shriners and Civic Club, a member and deacon of Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Preceding Mr. Lee in death were his parents, 3 brothers, Freddie Lee, Bruce Lee and J. D. Lee.

Several wonderful nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 Saturday, March 13, 2004 in Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church, with burial following in Arabia Cemetery in Clinch County, GA.
