Of Lakeland passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center in Lakeland, Georgia. She was born in Lanier County on December 7, 1925 to the late Christopher Columbus Roe and Letha Bradford Roe. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Isaac Carter, Daughter, Wanda Marie Steedley, and 2 brothers, Julian Matthew Roe & James Clevland Roe.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Lovejoy Cemetery in Stockton, GA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, May 28, 2012 at the funeral home.
