Lonnie Eugene Davis

Of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008 in South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Lonnie was born February 15, 1927 in Worth County to the late Ben and Delilah Barfield Davis. After serving in the US Navy during WW II, he was president of Remerton Development INC., and was an insurance salesman for many years. And was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Along with his parents, Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his sister, Eula Mary Smith, Brothers, Justin Davis, Julian Davis, and Jimmy Davis

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 2, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with the Rev. Mickey Wisehart, Rev. Gene Wisehart and Dr. Henry Cannington officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until service time at the funeral home
