Loretta J. Reilly, age 91, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026. She was born on March 2, 1935, in Philadelphia, PA to loving parents, Henry and Stella Plonski.
She was a warm and devoted homemaker who found her greatest joy in caring for and loving her family. She shared many wonderful years with the love of her life, Joseph F. Reilly, building a life centered on faith, family, and compassion. A dedicated Catholic, she faithfully attended church and proudly served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Knights of Columbus. She also had a servant’s heart and cherished her time volunteering with the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program and the Pink Ladies at SGMC, where her kindness and caring spirit touched the lives of many.
She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Joseph; daughter, Joanne Reilly; son, Joseph H. Reilly, and brother, Henry Plonski.
Loretta is survived by her son, John F. Reilly (Michelle) of San Jose, CA; grandchildren, Joyce Ann Reilly, Joseph L. Reilly (Michelle), Madison Reilly, Luke Reilly, and Melanie Wileczek and sister, Eleanor Slanga of Philadelphia, PA.
A Mass will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 800 Gornto Rd Valdosta 31602. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00AM to 11:45AM Wednesday, May 20, 2026, with the Rosary starting at 11:45AM until Mass. Inurnment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com. The Reilly family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Valdosta.
