Of Lakeland passed away at his residence on Friday, February 25, 2022. He was born on April 17, 1924 in Nashville, Georgia to the late Albert and Ada Browning Boyd. Lossie was a Veteran having served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He loved selling watermelons and sweet potatoes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Myrtice Marie Boyd, son Wayne Boyd, nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include: Sons, Charles Boyd, Lakeland, Georgia, Joel Boyd, Lakeland, Georgia; 4 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in Greenlawn Cemetery. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com . The Boyd family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Lakeland.
