Loudelle S. Hooker, 93
Of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at her residence. She was born to the late John Sirmans and Elda Whitley Sirmans on February 19, 1932, in Ocilla, Georgia. Loudelle had a warmth that touched everyone she met. Her kindness and infectious laughter made her unforgettable. She had a deep love for cooking, but above all, her greatest joy came from her family. She also had a profound love for traveling, with the Great Smoky Mountains holding a special place in her heart. The towering peaks, the serene mist that wrapped around the trees, and the peaceful solitude of its trails always called to her, offering a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Eugene Hooker; son, Greg Tucker; stepdaughter, Allison E. Hooker; sister, Katherine Sirmans; and brothers: Daniel Sirmans, Larry Sirmans, and Johnny Sirmans.
Survivors include her daughter, Lesa Lynn Register (Dewey) of Clyattville, Georgia; stepdaughter, Lisa Seib (Larry) of Evansville, IN; stepson, Michael Hooker of Valdosta, Georgia; stepdaughter, Valerie Lynn Hooker of Chapel Hill, NC; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Tucker, of Valdosta, GA; step-granddaughter, Angela Taylor (Jack) of Eatonton, Georgia; stepdaughter, Nancy Martin (Steve) of Orange Park, Florida; special furry companions, Lady and Ninita; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
