Louis J. Billera- 85
Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born September 19, 1921 in New York City, New York to the late Joseph and Fannie Maltese Billera. He worked as a manager of a Mans clothing store. He was a member of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Allentown, Pennsylvania and St. Bernards Catholic Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mr. Billera served in the United States Army and the Army Air Corp for four years. Mr. Billera was an assistant Scout Master and Merit Badge Counselor for the Boy Scouts in Allentown, PA. He also loved hiking and camping with his troupe. He enjoyed working with stained glass, playing with his dogs and riding bikes with his son and traveling with his family. Mr. Billera is preceded in death by his parents, 6 Brothers, his identical twin, Frank Billera, Ignatius Billera, James Billera, Anthony Billera, Patrick Billera and Carlo Billera, 3 Sisters, Rose Morana, Vieta Maltese and Laura.

Son & Daughter-in-law, Gary & Cecelia Billera Valdosta, Ga.
10 Grandchildren: Gina Billera, Jack Edward Carr III, Daniel Carr, Kathy Carr, Joshua Carr, Michael Carr, Dawn Carr, Phillip Carr, Melanie Carr and Jessica Carr.

Rosary services were held Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 6:00 pm in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Father John OBrien conducted the rosary. As per his wishes he was cremated following the services.
