Louise Harris Blanton

Louise Harris Blanton, age 73, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at South Georgia Medical Center surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on October 25, 1949, in Fernandina Beach, Florida to the late James Otis and Nellie Doris (Bennett) Harris. Louise enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandbabies. She enjoyed music, dancing, going to the mountains, and traveling. When she was younger, she enjoyed roller-skating. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her three brothers: Lonnie Harris, Robert Bennett, and Raymond Bennett.
Survivors include her daughter, Christine Webb of Valdosta, Georgia; granddaughter, Jessica Ratcliffe (Zane Carter) of Hahira, Georgia; a great granddaughter, Raelynn Carter; one sister, Dottie Beaman of Littleton, Colorado; two brothers: Kenny Harris of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Neil Harris of Yulee, Florida; special friends: Sue Pittman and Amy Nelson; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 22, 2023, in the Valdosta chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Wayfare Cemetery.
