Louise W. Cox

Louise Cox, 87 passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at her residence. She was born November 11, 1928 in Pulaski, GA to the late John Washington and Jettie Waldon Washington. Mrs. Cox loved her church family, enjoyed traveling, reading her bible and telling people about Jesus. She also loved going to "My Friend's House". Mrs. Cox is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Hosea Cox and her children May Helen, Glendera, Valton, Christopher and Ronnie.
Left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Louise are her children: Henry James "Cooter" Burroughs; Crystal Lynette Burroughs- Rattery; Yvette Ungenia Burroughs-Thompson; Grandchildren; Derrick Carlos Scruggs, Kaream Roman Burroughs, Kendra Latrice Burroughs Freeman, Rhonda Lashi Burroughs-Williams, Edwin Bernard Burroughs, Danielle Christopher Burroughs Christina, Lynn Patrice Burroughs-Dean, Thomas Baldwin, Thomasina Baldwin, Willie, Cary Lugo, Shawn Rattery, Desmond Rattery, Sherod Lamont Burroughs Adrienne, and Ciera Burroughs; a host of great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:00A.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 10:00A.M. until 11:00A.M. at the funeral home. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices .
