Louise Anderson Ellis 96
Of Valdosta passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009 in the Presbyterian Home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lumber City, GA on June 11, 1912 to the late William H., Sr. and Alice May Anderson. Mrs. Anderson attended nursing school at Grady Memorial Hospital where she took a course in Anesthesia. Her career was a Registered Professional Nurse and a Nurse Anesthesia. She was a former Director of Nursing and a member of the local nursing C16, GSNAT, ANA, Elks Aidmore Auxiliary, WSCS and she enjoyed teaching at the Elementary Department at Park Avenue Methodist Church. She was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Steve Ellis, Sr., 2 brothers, Ed Anderson and Leroy Anderson and a sister, Iris Hennesee.
Survivors include:Son, Steve Ellis Karen and Clay & Nicole Parrish, Lake Park, GA, Brothers, George Anderson, Hazlehurst, GA, Henry Anderson, Clearwater, FL, Sister, Maude Nixon, Gainesville, FL
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 8, 2009 in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM Friday, May 8, 2009 at the funeral home.
