Louise Gay Massey – 85

Of Lake Park passed away Monday morning April 25, 2005 in Marietta, Georgia after a lengthy illness. She was born on July 4, 1919 in Colquitt County, GA to the late Samuel H. and Sally Ann Gay. She had lived most of her life in Lowndes County. Being a very devoted mother she enjoyed spending time with her children and grand children. Mrs. Massey was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell E. Massey, a daughter, Annie Ruth Massey, and a son, Samuel H. Edward Massey.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 27, 2005 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Dr. Dean Spivey officiating. Burial followed in Sunset Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of South Georgia, P.O. Box 1727, Valdosta, Ga. 31603-1727
