Of Valdosta, passed away early Sunday March 26, 2006 morning in South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Cowart was born July 6, 1915, in Berrien County to the late William and Lizzie Purvis Spell. Mrs. Cowart retired from the Valdosta City School system. She loved flowers and working in her garden. She was a member of the Valdosta Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of the New Ramah Baptist Church in Ray City, GA.

Son and Daughter-in-Law Earl & Nell Snipes Ray City, GA

Sandra Hamel, Diana Harris; Ron Snipes, Didi Wagner; Pamela Hobbs; and Marci Smith.

Great Grandchildren:

Rob Hamel, Stacie Chvatal, and Shelley O’Rourke; William, Sophia, and Elliot Snipes; Sara Marie and Jamie Rae Wagner; Jeremiah and Abigail Hobbs; Kelsey, Alison and Samantha Morgan; Chase and Carli Callahan.

Great Great Grandchildren:
James and Mya Harris; Zachary Larson, Matthew O’Rourke; Vallerie Hamel.
