Lowelle Bostick

Of Lakeland, passed away Monday, December 03, 2007 at the Berrien Nursing Center. She was born April 10, 1911 in Berrien County to the late Rollie and Emma Biggles Warr. She married Ivy Bostick in 1930 who was a policeman in Lakeland for a short time. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church Lakeland where she sang in the choir and loved working with primary age children in Sunday School. She attended church business meetings because she said, “it is important”. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ivey Bostick; 2 brothers, Roy Warr and Wright Warr; 2 sisters, Kathryn Pink Vaughn and Annie Mae Farr, grandson Michael Bostick and daughter-in-law Anna Hunter Bostick.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family received friends on Tuesday, December 2, 2007 from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
