Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lowndes County Georgia on June 04, 1933 to the late Jessie Parker and Lessie Farmer Parker. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Francis Parker and Daughter-in-law, Jane Wright. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Paul Hampton of Valdosta GA; Daughter and Son-in-law, Brenda and Ben Rider of Odessa, FL; Son, Lee Wright of Valdosta GA; Son & Daughter-in-law, Phil and Donna Wright of Valdosta GA; Four Grandsons, Five Great Grandchildren; Sister, Voleta Spells of Valdosta GA; Sister & Brother-in-law, Marie and James Plair of Ray City, GA; Sister-in-law, Jeanette Parker of Hahira, GA. A number of nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at 1:00 PM. In the Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 11:00 to 1:00 at the Funeral Home.
