Lula Bell Tomlinson – 80

Of Howell, GA passed away early Wednesday morning July 24, 2013 in the Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center in Lakeland following a lengthy illness. She was born June 27, 1933 to the late Oscar and Lula Bell Nichols Tomlinson in Tuscaloosa County, AL. She retired from Levi Strauss Company in Valdosta, after which she served others in the Home Health Care business before ill health forced her to retire. As well as her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband W.C. "Dub" Tomlinson, Son Darrell Tomlinson, Brothers, Lennon Nichols, Roscoe Rosie Nichols, Fred Evelyn Nichols, Franklin Nichols, Sisters, Izona Nichols, Ila Lee Scrivner, Addie Bruce Clark, Ada Horace Simmons, Step-Mother Ruby Nichols, Sister-in-Law Mildred Nichols.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday July 26, 2013 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Wayfare Cemetery in Echols County. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Thursday Evening July, 25, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and one hour Prior to services on Friday.
