Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at her residence. She was born on October 20, 1944 in Valdosta, Georgia to Glenn and Mildred (Hancock) Kirkland. After 35 years of working at Sears, Lynda retired. After retirement, she spent her time traveling around. Her favorite hobbies were fishing and boating. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Young.
Survivors include her Brother, Ricky Kirkland of Valdosta, Georgia,
Brother, Michael Kirkland of Valdosta, Georgia, Sister and Brother-in-Law, Glenda Lee (Bobby) of Valdosta, Georgia; Nieces, Jenny Facezakas and Jessica Royal both of Valdosta, Georgia.
