Mable Brown

Mable Irene Brown, 73, of Quitman passed away on Thursday January 10, 2019, in Valdosta, GA. She was born on March 26th, 1945 in Columbus, IN to the late Howard and Myrtle (Sullivan) Brown. Mable prided herself in the raising of her children and grandchildren, as well as the overall wellbeing of her family and home. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband, Joe Gonzalez, fiance, Melvin Carter, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Survivors include: 4 Sons & Daughters-in-law: Adam & Whitney Yearta, Valdosta, Glady Yearta, Quitman, Edward Yearta, Quitman, Michael Shane Huffman, Albany; 6 Grandchildren: Bailey & Landon Yearta, Sommer Yearta, Dylan Langley Yearta, Alexis Bates, Jaxon Yearta; 2 Brothers & Sister-in-law: Walter & Faye Brown, Lakeland, FL, David & Jean Brown, Lakeland, FL; Sisters & Brother-in-law: Mary & Lonnie Beasley, Pawpaw, MI, Kathy Huffman; Special Niece: Connie Brown, Valdosta and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2019 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services.
